Nothing says “primal” like leafy greens and fruits, and this smoothie is a terrific way to start the day. It’s low in fat, stimulating, and light enough to keep you alert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups coconut water, plus more as needed
- 1 cup coarsely chopped kale leaves
- 1 green apple, cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
Directions
- Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more coconut water to plain water and process briefly.
