The ingredients have been specifically chosen to detoxify, alkalinize and heal the body. Alkalising diets improve bone density and serum growth hormone concentrations, while acidic diets contribute to bone and muscle loss. The most nourishing alkalising foods are green foods such as leafy greens, green vegetables, spirulina and wheat grass; citrus fruits; raw nuts and seeds, cold-pressed olive oil, beans and legumes. Make sure to include plenty of alkalising foods in your diet every day and you will notice the difference in your overall health.

150 g mixed leafy greens (cos, butter lettuce, iceberg, rocket, spinach, micro greens etc)
1/2  avocado
sprinkle of pumpkin seeds
sprinkle of sunflower seeds
handful of raw or roasted walnuts
sprinkle of goji berries or pomegranate jewels
1 teaspoon  ground flax seed (linseed)

Arrange the salad leaves into serving bowls.
Lay over the avocado and sprinkle over the seeds + goji berries.
Serve with your favourite dressing.
Try the simple lemon and olive oil dressing or a lush parsley and mint salsa verde. (see recipes)

Boosters:
Enhance detoxification by adding 1/2 raw grated or roasted beetroot.
Add a little crunch and goodness by adding a little roasted buckwheat.

Green Salsa Verde
1 bunch parsley leaves
1 bunch mint leaves
zest and juice from 1 lemon
cold pressed olive oil, flaxseed or walnut oil

Make the green dressing by combining all the ingredients into a high performance blender and process until smooth. Season with a little fresh ground pepper. Pour a little over the salad just before eating and enjoy. Add a little splash of coconut water to aid mixing.

Lemon and olive oil dressing:
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons cold pressed olive oil
black pepper
Combine dressing ingredients and pour over the salad.
Enjoy and feel nourished.
