Spicy Chick Peas

Serves 4 people

Preparation: 5 – 7 minutes

It’s healthy, quick and very delicious. It uses ingredients most people have in the cupboard.

  1. Heat oil in wok/pan
  2. Fry cumin seeds until brown
  3. Add onion, ginger, garlic
  4. Cook until soft
  5. Add coriander, turmeric, chili & chick peas
  6. When mixed well add garam masala, tomato paste and lemon juice
  7. Mix well over low heat
  8. Serve with rice, flat bread or spicy potatoes
  9. Garnish with coriander.

Variation

    You could leave out the chili powder if you like spicy but not hot.
